Alaska Design Studio is an architecture practice grounded in the belief that every project exists within a distinct context — shaped by client needs, close partnership with builders, and the qualities of the site. top: The latitude of Anchorage is 61° N. If you followed tgat line to the east you would find Reykjavik, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, and Moscow, which are all major design centers. Anchorage has the same climate that influenced such strong design in our European counterparts but as a jumping off point for the rest of the state has even more potential for strong specific design.
